In the year 1838, a Belgian Politician bought the grounds around the castle to build an exclusive private hunting pavilion, just a few years after this he decided to start the construction of a massive castle for him and his wife after he passed away the castle fell into the hands of the local government. It remained dormant until the year 1914 when First World War began. the grounds of the castle were used as a defense line against the invading German army. And the property itself was used as a hospital for the wounded soldiers. When the war over the castle was in ruins and was in desperate need of restoration, that’s when the Noble English Wellington Family bought the castle and breaded new life into it. For almost a Century they called this amazing place their home but when both parents passed away the children could end decide on how to split the property and to this day they are still in a legal process while the castle slowly rots away… Today we will take you inside of this neo-classical building and bread life into it for one last time.

Deeply hidden in the great French forests, lies a mystical beauty that has remained off the radar for a vast amount of years. Let me take you on an exclusive look behind the closed doors of this enchanting castle.

Through all the years of neglect, the property almost magically seems to have become in harmony with nature. While the overgrowth steadily makes its way in, and the building is slowly but surely dematerializing. With thousands of books and phantasmal statues scattered around, some of the rooms inside this once majestic castle seem straight out of a scene of a Harry Potter movie.

Where this was once the residence of a potent nobility and one of the key branches of the society of that time, it's now nothing more than a piece of lost glory completely forgotten by its wall of dense vegetation.

Which events ever took place within the walls of this prestigious building? And who are the faces in these photos?

Most of us can only dream of living in a mansion some day. So when we hear that one has been abandoned completely and left to rot, it is usually shrouded in mystery.
What happened to cause this beautiful mansion to turn from a lavish home to a derelict place?

That’s what we’re going to investigate today.
Little is known about the home's history between then and now, but, several different owners tried to revive the home to its former glory before falling on hard times themselves. Which begs the question: Is it cursed? Probably not, but you never know!
Villagers still believe the mansion to be cursed, and despite the mansion is hauntingly beautiful, no interested buyers have been found over the past years.

Let’s take a peek inside together in this mystifying mansion, that was lastly occupied by a lawyer and her family.

Somewhere in the middle of the Georgia countryside, there is a house that is barely still visible from the street.

Behind the foliage hides a sign of destruction. This wooden cottage is being swallowed up by mother nature.

This property was once the home of Sally and Henry, who had a daughter together. Today, the photos of them and their relatives only collect dust and slowly but surely fade in the light that shines in. Plant roots wriggle their way in while all their belongings seem left behind.

Around the turn of the millennium, Mr. Henry passed away and Mrs. Sally remained as a widower. She was a cat lover and lived in peace for a decade before eventually dying of heart problems.

What remained now is a place of serenity that has gone for an infinite sleep.

With nature reclaiming the crumbling exterior, roots engulfing the house, and plants and greenery that have begun to grow over the floors, time is fast running out for this enigmatic home nestled on the rural outskirts of a French town.

Mister Martin lived in this grand Luxembourgish farm together with his six children and his wife Mariel. They were known as the happy farming family because they were always seen together and participated in and organized lots of activities around the charming historic village. Unfortunately, his wife passed away early on in their relationship, this left him to care alone for his 6 children at first he managed. But over time the burden got too high for him and he grabbed towards alcohol to cope with his problems, this lead to a spiral of abuse and addiction where he never recovered from… His children left him one by one until he eventually had nobody left to take care of him. In the fall of 2011, Mister Martin was rushed to the hospital for an alcohol overdose from which he never recovered. The children don’t seem to care about the house he had left behind, the resale value is slim to none in this remote part of Luxembourg, so ever since his passing it has been slowly withering away until Mother Nature claims it for herself once again.

This story will tell the tale of a very humble and kind Belgian man who lived the last year of his life in desperate loneliness until he passed away in 2006. After Ettiene passed nobody seemed to care anymore about the memories and items he left behind, everything in the house has remained the same from the day he passed. It is clear that he suffered from a severe medical condition at the end of his life and clearly, nobody was there anymore to help him out. In this week's episode, we explore the abandoned mansion from the French family Castello, they were a happily married couple, had 4 young boys and life seemed to be great for the family. But in a sudden night around the year 2002 everything changed, they suddenly disappeared and nobody knows their whereabouts. After asking numerous residents around the abandoned mansion for more information about what happened in this place, nobody could give us clear answers... So it was up to us to turn on our cameras and start to investigate this mysterious home.

Everything of the Castello family is left behind inside, it is just like they could get home tonight and start living there again, this proves to be a very interesting exploring, so let's waste no more time and let's begin this epic adventure!

The art the silence...
Thousands of books are gathering dust in the attic of this abandoned house.
A massive stone bust of Joseph Stalin is still on display in the upstairs wooden stairwell.
And even, the pictures of their children and coloring pictures they once made still roam around the home. And the dishes are still on the counter and in the sink, waiting forever to be washed and cleaned up. This house is a true time capsule.

Let me take you into the story of an architect of Russian origin, who immigrated to rural France in his middle age, together with his wife and two children, and designed this house all by himself for his dearest family.
Some day, the family disappeared without a trace, and the door has remained unopened for years since, leaving their former dwelling stagnant in the time ever since, giving Mother Nature the chance to gradually reclaim what was once hers.

Today I'll give you a new glance in yesteryear, as we're delving ourselves into the aftermath of a Russian family's life that was previously existent in this home.

Today I will take you to Belgium again. Secluded in a tiny street, near the French border, lies another abandoned house where the former residents seem to have evaporated with time. Once we make our way inside the house, we find numerous clear indications that it was once occupied by Mrs. Chantal Thérèse. Her personal memories, conjointly her Roman Catholic faith, are strongly echoed all over the house, and I believe if the walls could speak, many more echoes would be discernible. During multifold years of vacancy, four walls turn out to haven't been sufficient to withhold nature from creeping in, and neither have homeless people and spiders been retained from settling in for good measure.

In 1960, the freshly married couple Maurice and Janette bought a charming dwelling in a picturesque French town. For them it was not just a house, this was their home, where their memories were shared, love was made, and happiness was created. This was the place where their son Juul was born, Juul was unlike other children, he was born with a mental illness, but his loving and determined parents brought him up in the most normal way, and give him all the love they got. Unfortunately for Juul when his parents passed away he was not able to care for himself and was placed in a mental asylum, he still owns the house to this day but is unable to care for it. Today we will explore their legacy and uncover the story of their lost home.
